Good morning Rising Sun!
Here’s what’s happening this week around town.

Opening Day in Rising Sun brought out everything we love about small-town life—floats, families, and a strong sense of community.

From the moment the parade kicked off, Main Street was lined with neighbors, friends, and families cheering on a great lineup of floats, with the band leading the way and adding to the energy along the route. The kids especially brought a lot of excitement to the day, and it showed in the smiles.

Beyond the celebration, the day made a real impact.
💙 A total of $2,165 was raised to support local teams, showing once again how events like this bring the community together for something bigger.

Opening Day isn’t just about starting a season—it’s about tradition, connection, and the moments that make Rising Sun feel like home.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize and support Opening Day—from volunteers and organizers to families and participants who made the day possible.

With so much happening, this is just a small glimpse of a great day for our community.
