Sunday, I stopped by the Rising Sun Marketplace where the owner Amber hosted a small gathering for local women business owners. The purpose of the meetup was to bring together women running businesses in our community and capture a group photo to celebrate and support local entrepreneurship.

While there, I had the chance to chat briefly with a few of the local business owners who attended. It’s always encouraging to see people in our community supporting each other, sharing ideas, and cheering each other on.

Moments like this remind us how many small businesses and entrepreneurs help keep Rising Sun vibrant and connected.

🥞 Lions Club Pancake Breakfast Draws Over 200 People

The Rising Sun Lions Club hosted their annual pancake breakfast this weekend and welcomed over 200 people from the community. Volunteers served pancakes, sausage, and drinks while raising funds to support local Lions Club projects and community programs.

I stopped by toward the end of the event, and the food was still great with many community members stopping in to support the fundraiser.

Thank you to the Lions Club volunteers who helped make the morning a success and to everyone who came out to support the event.
