🌼 Spring Has Sprung in Rising Sun

I snapped this photo along the riverfront this week — flowers are starting to bloom, and it finally feels like spring is here.

After a long winter, it’s nice to see everything coming back to life. It’s a great time to get outside, take a walk, and enjoy being out in town again.

🍽️ Local Spot: Main Street Diner

228 Main Street • Open 7 AM – 3 PM Daily

If you’ve spent any time in downtown Rising Sun, you’ve probably noticed the Main Street Diner right on Main Street. It’s one of those classic small-town spots that feels welcoming the moment you walk up.

The diner is open daily from 7 AM to 3 PM and offers a farm-to-table menu with everything made fresh. I’ve had their pulled pork sandwich, and it’s really good — they smoke the pork on site and make their own barbecue sauce and slaw. They also serve a great all-day breakfast, which is always a plus.

The diner has that friendly, local feel that makes it a favorite in town, with owner Sandy helping create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who stops in.

With outdoor seating right on Main Street, it’s a great place to stop in and enjoy a meal as the weather starts to warm up. If you’re out and about this week, it’s a great time to check it out and support a local Rising Sun business.
